Amenify’s Resident Protection Plan Offers Reimbursements up-to $1,500 Annualy

The Amenify Resident Protection Plan is an affordable, optional subscription that reimburses common everyday accidental damages to your rental home and certain management fees as well.

For just $8.99 per month (or $9.99 with the Amenify Bundle), residents receive up to $1,500 in annual reimbursements for real-world inconveniences that impact their rental experience.

What’s Covered Under the Protection Plan?

  • Accidental Damage Reimbursement: Up to $1,000 annually, with a maximum of $250 per quarter for damages like carpet stains, damaged blinds, drywall holes, countertop nicks everything that comes with normal living.

  • Key or Fob Replacement (including your mailbox key): Up to $50 per instance—because things happen.

  • Lockout Fee Reimbursement: Up to $50 per instance—no one wants to be locked out, and no one should have to pay through the nose for it.

  • Missed Maintenance Appointment Fees: Up to $50 per instance—because appointments get missed, and residents shouldn’t be penalized for it.

  • Overnight Stay Reimbursement: Up to $200 for hotel stays if displacement occurs—sometimes life throws curveballs.

How Does It Work?

  • If you signed up before move-in, you’re covered immediately — even for damages from the move itself.

  • If you signed up after move-in, there’s a 30-day waiting period before eligibility begins.

    When something happens:

  1. A qualifying damage or fee occurs.

  2. You pay your Management Company for the repair or fee.

  3. Submit proof of payment in your Amenify app.

  4. Amenify reimburses you.

That’s it. Simple, fast, and hassle-free.

*All benefits are subject to change at any time. Specific terms and conditions apply to each benefit.

How to Submit a Claim?

It's as simple as

  1. Paying the management fee for the accidental damage or charge

  2. Submitting proof of payment through Amenify.

That's it. Payment will get automatically reimbursed.

Important details:

  • Claims must be submitted while the lease is active and during residency

    • You may not submit any reimbursement post-residency.

    • You may not submit any claims from an end-of-lease walk-through.

    • The Protection Plan is not a security deposit replacement.

  • If your plan is activated on or before your lease start date, there is no waiting period for claims to be submitted.

If your plan is activated after the lease start date, there is a 15-day waiting period before the first claim can be made. The incident date must occur after the waiting period to qualify for reimbursement.

How is this different from Renters' Insurance?

Not Renters Insurance. While renters' insurance is great for catastrophic events like fire or theft, it’s rare. What about the everyday issues that come with renting? That’s where the Amenify Resident Protection Plan steps in.

  • Renters Insurance: Covers the big, catastrophic stuff—fire, theft, water damage.

  • Amenify Protection Plan: Covers the small, everyday stuff that renters deal with—accidental damages, lockouts, missed maintenance fees.

This is protection when you need it most—the type of stuff that slips through the cracks of renters' insurance.
