Rent Manager and Amenify Team Up to Pilot the Next Generation of Resident Experience
Rent Manager and Amenify Announce Pilot Program For Resident Experience Innovation
The two companies will explore opportunities to enhance resident engagement, rewards, and lifestyle services through a pilot initiative.
Rent Manager and Amenify have entered into an agreement to collaborate on and explore new ways property management companies can enhance the resident experience through rewards, lifestyle services, and automated gifts.
Amenify has built one of the industry's largest resident commerce and lifestyle services networks, connecting more than 25 million homes to trusted home services, merchant-funded rewards, local commerce programs, and resident engagement offerings across more than 1,000 U.S. cities.
As part of the planned pilot, the two organizations expect to implement and evaluate resident-focused offerings designed to complement the property management experience and create additional value for property managers, ownership groups, and residents.
Exploring Opportunities Together
The planned pilot is expected to evaluate several areas of resident engagement, including:
Resident rewards and loyalty programs
Access to home and lifestyle services
Local commerce and merchant-driven benefits
Resident retention and satisfaction initiatives
Opportunities to simplify the resident experience
The pilot is intended to provide both organizations with valuable feedback and insights that may help shape future collaboration opportunities.
A Shared Vision for Resident Experience
Resident expectations continue to evolve, with renters increasingly seeking convenience, value, and service-oriented experiences. Property management companies are actively exploring ways to strengthen resident relationships while differentiating their communities in a competitive market.
Rent Manager and Amenify share a belief that technology can play an important role in supporting those goals. Through the pilot, both organizations intend to better understand how resident-focused services and engagement programs can support property operators and the communities they serve.
Areas Of Focus For The Pilot
As planning progresses, Rent Manager and Amenify expect to evaluate opportunities across several resident experience categories.
CARD LINKING
Link a card. Earn cash back on everyday spending.
As part of the pilot, participating residents are expected to have access to Amenify’s card-linking program at no cost and no subscription. Residents securely link a card they already carry, then automatically earn cash-back-style rewards at dozens of national retailers—including grocery and gas merchants, where rewards reach up to 5% back. There is nothing to activate at checkout, no coupons to clip and no receipts to upload.
Everyday categories. Grocery, gas, dining, pharmacy, and dozens of national retail brands.
Up to 5% back. Qualifying purchases at participating grocery and gas merchants earn at the top of the range.
One wallet. Rewards land in the resident wallet within the rmResident mobile app, alongside their gifts and Shop Local credits.
SHOP LOCAL CREDITS
Residents earn a percentage back on rent and everyday local spending.
Alongside national card-linked rewards, qualifying purchases at nearby restaurants, shops and services earn residents Amenify Shop Local credits. As part of the pilot, the organizations will evaluate how these credits can be made redeemable directly through the rmResident mobile app. Credits are earned automatically on local spending, with nothing for residents to claim and nothing for property teams to administer.
Percentage back on card purchases. Earned automatically on qualifying local spending—nothing to claim.
Spend it where they already are. Shop Local credits will be accessible through the rmResident mobile app, alongside any gifts from the property manager.
Rewards that keep coming. Amenify also offers monthly and milestone-based rewards, in addition to any property-funded gifts.
HOME SERVICES CONCIERGE
A full AI assistant and human concierge, booked in-app.
The pilot will allow residents to access Amenify’s home services through rmResident, including restaurant delivery and pickup, grocery delivery, housekeeping, handyman services, TV mounting, dog walking, moving help, chores and tasks, e-commerce, and more.
Every service provider on the Amenify network is background-checked and insured, and equipped with checklists, photo uploads, and GPS tracking. Live chat and phone support are available seven days a week, and the network maintains a 4.75-star average rating.
Residents contact Amenify directly for service-related support, reducing the administrative work for on-site property teams.
OPTIONAL ADD-ON FOR PROPERTY MANAGERS
Gifts that send themselves.
Amenify currently offers automated resident gifting to help property managers recognize key moments throughout the resident lifecycle—such as move-in and lease renewal. The pilot will make these capabilities available to participating Rent Manager customers.
